  1. The accommodation contract and related agreements entered into by this hotel with a guest shall be in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these general terms and conditions shall be in accordance with laws and regulations or generally established customs.
  2. If this hotel agrees to a special agreement to the extent that it does not contravene laws and customs, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

  5. In the event that during the stay, the guest requests to continue the stay beyond the date of stay stipulated in item 2 of the preceding paragraph, this hotel shall treat such request as a new application for a contract of stay at the time such request is made.

  1. The accommodation contract shall be concluded when this hotel accepts the application as stated in the preceding article; provided, however, that this shall not apply when this hotel proves that it did not accept the application.
  2. When the accommodation contract is formed pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the credit card number shall be notified or the deposit/application fee shall be paid by the date designated by this hotel.
  3. The deposit/reservation deposit shall first be allocated to the room charge ultimately payable by the guest, and if the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 apply, the deposit shall be allocated in the order of penalty followed by compensation, and any remaining amount shall be returned at the time of payment of the room charge pursuant to Article 12. In the event that a credit card number has been provided, no deposit/application fee will be charged, but the credit card will be charged in the event of a penalty or indemnity fee. The hotel also reserves the right to obtain prior approval at the time of application.
  4. In the event that the application fee as stipulated in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date designated by this hotel in accordance with the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall cease to be effective; provided, however, that this hotel has notified the guest to that effect when designating the date for the payment of the application fee.

  1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the Hotel may accept a special agreement that does not require the payment of the application fee as specified in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article after the contract is concluded.

In the event that this hotel does not require payment of the application fee as specified in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify the date of payment of said application fee upon accepting the application for the accommodation contract, this hotel shall be deemed to have complied with the special contract as specified in the preceding paragraph.

This hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract in the following cases.

  1. When an application for accommodation is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  2. When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
  3. When it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation is likely to conduct himself/herself in a manner contrary to the provisions of the law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.
  4. When it is clearly recognized that the person seeking accommodation is a person with a contagious disease.
  5. When it is recognized that the guest has committed a violent act of demand, demanded a burden exceeding a reasonable range, or has committed a similar act in the past against this hotel or its employees in relation to the accommodation.
  6. When the hotel is unable to accommodate the guest due to a natural disaster, breakdown of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
  7. When it is found that the guest or applicant is a member of a crime syndicate, a person related to an organization affiliated with a crime syndicate, or any other antisocial force, or when a juridical person has an officer who falls under the category of a member of a crime syndicate.
  8. When it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation is a drunken person, etc., who is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests, or when the guest has said or done something that is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests.
  9. When an application is made by a user who has previously been expelled from the hotel due to poor payment, bad conduct, etc.
  10. When it is anticipated that the hotel will suffer a significant disadvantage by accommodating the guest.

This hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract in the following cases.

  1. When an application for accommodation is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  2. When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
  3. When it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation is likely to conduct himself/herself in a manner contrary to the provisions of the law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.
  4. When it is clearly recognized that the person seeking accommodation is a person with a contagious disease.

  1. The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making a request to this hotel.
  2. In the event that a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to the guest, this hotel will charge a penalty fee in accordance with Appendix 2, but only when this hotel has notified the guest of its obligation to pay the penalty fee.
  3. In the event that a guest does not arrive at the hotel by 6:00 p.m. on the day of the stay (or 2 hours after the estimated time of arrival, if such time has been specified in advance) without notifying this hotel, this hotel may deem the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest.

  6. When a guest is intoxicated, singing, or causing or threatening to cause inconvenience to other guests, or when a guest says or does something that causes inconvenience to other guests.
  7. When a guest does not comply with the prohibitions of the hotel's rules of use (limited to those necessary for fire prevention), such as smoking in the bedroom, tampering with firefighting equipment, etc.
  8. When it is found that the guestroom facilities are defaced, damaged, or used beyond the bounds of common sense.
  9. When it is found that the guest or applicant is a member of a crime syndicate, a person related to an organization affiliated with a crime syndicate, or any other anti-social force, or when a juridical person has an officer who falls under the category of a member of a crime syndicate.
  10. When it is anticipated that the hotel will suffer significant disadvantages by accommodating the guest.
  11. When the hotel cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the preceding paragraph, if the guest is not at fault, the hotel will not charge any accommodation fee that has not yet been provided. If the guest is negligent, the hotel will charge the accommodation charge, extension charge, restoration fee, and other necessary expenses as stipulated.

  6. If the guest intends to make payment of the charges as stipulated in Article 12 by a method that can be substituted for currency, such as a lodging coupon issued by a travel agency or a credit card, the guest shall present such coupon or credit card in advance at the time of registration as stipulated in the preceding paragraph.

  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may accept the use of a room outside the hours stipulated in the preceding paragraph. In such cases, the following additional charges shall apply (Please inquire about the basic room charge as it varies depending on the number of guests, floor level, view, facilities, etc.) (The basic room charge is not necessarily the same as the room charge to be paid on the day of the stay.)
  3. (For an extension until 2:00 p.m. or arrival after 11:00 a.m., 30% of the basic room rate will be charged.
  4. Extension of stay until 5:00 p.m. or arrival after 8:00 a.m.: 50% of the basic room rate.
  5. Extension after 5:00 p.m. or arrival before 8:00 a.m.: 100% of the basic room rate.
  6. Children under 12 years of age may stay free of charge on the condition that they use an existing bed. However, no amenities are provided in this case. (If a child uses a separate bed, he/she will be charged the same rate as an adult regardless of age. If you make a reservation through a travel agency (including web reservation sites), the rules of the respective agency will apply.

  2. The hotel complies with the standards for periodic inspections of fire prevention objects based on the Fire Defense Law, and has Ryokan liability insurance in case of fire, etc.

In the event that this hotel is unable to arrange other accommodations notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this hotel shall pay compensation to the guest in an amount equivalent to the penalty fee, and such compensation shall be applied to the amount of compensation for damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to this hotel for not being able to provide a room, no compensation shall be paid.
  1. In the event that this hotel is unable to provide the contracted room to the guest, the hotel will, with the consent of the guest, arrange other accommodations under the same conditions as far as possible.
  2. In the event that this hotel is unable to arrange other accommodations notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, this hotel shall pay compensation to the guest in an amount equivalent to the penalty fee, and such compensation shall be applied to the amount of compensation for damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to this hotel for not being able to provide a room, no compensation shall be paid.

In the event of loss, destruction, or other damage to articles, cash, or valuables left at the front desk by guests, this hotel will compensate for such damage, except in cases where the damage is caused by force majeure. In the event that a guest's baggage or personal belongings are left at the hotel after the guest has checked out, the hotel will keep them for a period of 3 months, provided that cash, precious metals, and other valuables are not left behind. However, in the case of cash, precious metals, or other valuables, the hotel will keep them for 7 days including the day they are found, after which they will be reported to the nearest police station.
  3. In the case of the preceding two paragraphs, the responsibility of this hotel for the safekeeping of the guest's baggage or personal belongings shall be in accordance with the provisions of the preceding article.
